Hello how is everyone this start of the LaborDay weekend I am bone dead tired and need to get in the bed going on  9:00 I will say I sure did not wont to cook but some men another story what I wont to say is I like aidpage and I really appreciate how people do not bash you I am on one site where you post questions and I tell you the way some of them bash you I last week posted a question one tells me you dont have food in my apartment but can afford internet and a computer excuse you I said I was getting food stamps and not much well that is all God bless shyshy 471@aidpage.com

Morning one thing watching my sweet neighbor and friend move next door I think she is moving out for good going to miss her to death she said she would visit then they are moving the hard way us here on the 2nd floor balcony we are lucky to have a hallway which leads to our parking lot and the dumpsters they should of moved that of way going down the steps a no no and then you have to turn no joke oh well I have had 2 nightmare moves one I just let my ex run the show for real and then worried my niece just talked about me plus the others to and told my sister I should of left things like they were and if he got mad left so be it.

Stress played a factor moving here these are brand new apartments owned by the housing authority I had 3 moving dates got stuck with that same ex him and I were the ones to move thank God my daughter who is now 17 she is handicapped was calm but he made me made I let him stop get my neighbor's nephew who lived next door to us to help with the heavy furnite boy I wish I did have that $250.00 to pay the moving people for real moving is no  joke and my things were packed for a while but I had to do what I had to do everybody I knew they worked I moved on a Tuesday.

My next move will be a  house to like she is moving into along with her sister Holly has a 2 year old daughter and 14 year old son.

Another thing I would like to say is this I have just read and heard some horrible stories people killing incennet children Monday Orangeburg South Carolina strangles her 2 babies 2 years and I think 18 months old puts them in the car pushes car in the river think her mom they said was berating her she had no job do not know what else goodness funnerals yesterday  I say the Lord I know is on my side my daughter yes it is a lot of work and takes onces of patience I am tested tried everyday to me we all are life is not a bowel of cherries and kids they do things my daughter is handicapped but she has her moments to I am proud to say this has been a long journey she will be a Senior this school year I can let her go another 2 years but no I think I am letting her graduate.

I have family I do miss my foster mom because she could watch my daughter my sister now has 2 jobs and her troubles she helps when she can again I am not trying to bash anybody the kids part pick up the phone call social services the adoption people wont to do that they did not ask to be born well God Bless all here on aidpage and pray for me I get a good neighbor or neighbors next door noone may move in right away she was here Holly 2 years I just hope if she comes says bye I do not start crying for real she said she would visit boy oh boy

Morning I am asking for prayers for the family of these 5 victims last Thursday in Staten Insland New York in Port Richmond there was an apartment fire a mother her 4 children died this was an house made into apartments they said seems like only 2 families should of lived there there were 17 well it gets worse her 14 year old son who they say was troubled they said he did it well I read the other day that mom did it this that the story is sad enough then the smoke detector comes up as a problem.

Now the house had had citations what came out of that beats me one problem was the wiring she owed a lot of  rent to the landlord and was being sued not talking I do not know how he was still allowing her to live there the oldest child was 14 the baby was 2 now I do not wont to be graphic here and go into details go online type in Staten Insland News go over to the side on the  right there may be more stories still on it okay and you can post comments to this site you do have to sign up no charge not knocking the news people but true like  someone said get your story straight and the police department to this is sad real sad and God knows what there family is going through.

Now I am blessed to been able to move into a brand new apartment building back in December 2007 we have all the fire stuff fire alarms which have a red light that blinks that light don't be blinking speak up tell the landlord, we have fire alarms yes like buildings do and everybody goes off some of the people do not like that but let me tell you something you sleep through that loud thing I do not know and then sprinklers now yes God forbid a bad fire would break out you would have water damage believe me but a life cannot be replaced.

I I have a 17 year old special needs daughter now and one morning summer before last she was going to summer school about 6:30 alarm goes off well I said okay who is it now I open my bedroom door look smoke coming out the microwave scared me to death my daughter she is sneaky yes she is anyways she had I guess put that container of chili in that microwave and turned on I got rid of that thing one you had to stand and watch your food button to turn off was messed up another scare went one day in my daughter's bedroom and plugged up her radio sparks come out the socket this was on a Saturday well I prayed all weekend Lord please do let a fire start called my manger that following Monday morning and she had the maintence man come out.

Well he checked it it is okay you wont the same one I said no no matter how silly it may of sounded now I do not wont to scare any of you but make sure your batteries are working in your smoke detectors okay especially you are renting from someone now try to keep your stoves cleaned that can cause a problem to me I know it is a lot of work me myself last 2 weeks feel like I have been cleaning like crazy now yesterday there was a house fire around the corner from my apartment building on Loudon Avenue there are 2 houses across the street from the 2 homes on Loudon he said a pot of water now all this fire mess is making me nerves for real thanks shyshy 471 @aidpage.com 

Morning yes July 10th like the title said my ex fiance and I were not ready he had some issues and I called the engagement off and asked him to move out we are back together and he has said he was sorry he has been married before would of been my first we were not engaged long got engaged October 24th of last year and in February I called it off today is hard I am trying not to cry oh Lord here I almost do calm down I need to be able to get away from this apartment one when I look out my bedroom window which faces our parking lot on the back I see the office.

Okay my manger no longer uses it but we cant rent it for $25.00 for parties other things I   was having the wedding there I could not afford the wedding I wanted and it could not hold but like about 50 people so again this is going to be a rough day weekend so  please pray for me okay and I will be more then glad to accept suggestions etc.

The honeymoon well we were talking about a bed and breakfast place my daughter is hanicapped so we were not going off for a long time again it is hard but marriage is a big step okay all you young people in a hurry to do it and I wont mine to last who knows maybe down the road we will get married thanks again shyshy 471@aidpage.com

          Hello this is shyshy 471 I just wont to say God is good here I have been trying to get my food stamps back lost them due to a sanction back in 2007 now this week I find out I am getting them once again yes the sanction is still there but this time if I have to scream I am going to do whatever it takes to keep them.

I would also like to say my daughter will be a senior in the fall for those of you who do not know she is 17 and handicapped born with trismony 21 Downe's Syndrome at birth now I have the choice of letting her graduate this year or let her go to she is 21 right now graduate her dad is distant in her life I have had and still do family to help it has been a long long road for us both  and when she does take that final walk graduating from high yes I will be crying a river of tears.

Hello I am 48 years old now mother to a special needs 17 year old teenager born with Downe's Syndrome at birth I became a foster child at the age of 2 years old and was blessed to be placed in a good home my foster mom and dad were old fashioned and set in their ways got on my nerves sometimes believe both have since passed on I have a half sister Sharon who has 4 children ranging in age from 38 to 18 years old I am a mom aunt and great aunt my youngest great nephew is 16 months old I was born and raised in Virginia I attended Loudon Elememtary School Harrison Elementary School graudated from Patrick Henry High School.

I have been in a the summer youth program from 14 to 18 years old I have worked with Public Works Jefferson National Forest  Total Action Againist Proverty just to name  a few of my summer jobs I have worked with  Service America Vending Company working at Blue Cross and Blue Shield for 5 years until I was laid off I did attend college twice but did not finish majoring in secretial courses I have worked with a temp agency worked at a Subway I have not worked with  Habitat for Humanity, Department of Socail Services, Division of Child Enforcement.

In June of 1979 I enrolled in an CNA NURSING PROGRAM through Friendship Manor Retirement Health Center graduated June of 1979 received my nursing dipolma I wrote a letter in 1979 in which my foster mom won Foster Mother Of the Year I have secretial customer services activites of daily living skills, I have had a long journey to and thank God for my foster mom and dad I could not ask for a better half sister to  well just wanted to share that  

Hi I am shyshy 471 on here I am a single mother of a 17 year old downes syndrome teenager Brittany and I have had a long hard journey together she is also adhd which she takes medicine for that Brittany has been in the Easter Seals Program the Chip Program she graduated from the Easter Seals Program she started preschool through Roanoke City Pulic Schools when she was 3 years old in the Reach Program attending Grandin Court Elementary School then being moved to Roanoke Academy School which was closer to her home she graduated from the Reach Program.

Brittany and I have worked and still do a lot of agencies she participates now in the Community 

Services Program through Blue Ridge Behavorial services goes out on Thursdays due to funding issues that will end July 30.2010  She graduated from elementary school in June 2004 has attended Addison Middle High School Currently attending my alma mater Patrick Henry High School Brittany will be a Senior in the Fall of this year wheter I let her graduate this year or go for a couple more when that day comes I will sure be one proud mom I have had help from family also this is not easy never will be but when I wont to give up I look around at all her certificates all the programs she has been in and say look how far you have brought her.

Brittany likes to swim listen to music watch tv play basketball which she played for a while on her classmates mother's team in 2005 I just wanted to let my aidpage members know what is like to be a single parent raising a special needs daughter God Bless You All shyshy 471

   Morning a lot is on my mind I need everyone on here to pray I get approved for my food stamps again  I know of someone to me who is being homless just to be that way they have been offered to stay with me with rules while they were then said they had bills okay they have a mom who I know they could move back in with she moved in with them after having shoulder surgery last year she is 81 and she worries this friend had stayed with my daughter and I for several of days last week, they did get some food they left Monday going to the salvation army to talk to some lady.

They were in a rooming house and had some food taken last month well they had talked about being moved the Friday before Memorial Day then said the first well they did move out of there but they did not have a place and they stayed with us they are in a program and I know those people can help them I have because they asked about here where I live go talk to my manger well they haven't I live in brand new apartments where a one bedroom is only $300.00 they get the same kind of check my daughter does each month and then an expense check from the ehs program they are in I have said I am not going to say you know you can stay here another time or if they should say I am going to the Ram house or anywhere else let them go.

Yesterday on the way home on the bus here they are standing on the corner I said will you look at that to myself way later called said there counselor had picked them up taken to mom she needed her rug cleaned spending the night okay tell her hi they did now I understand some people things happen end up homeless but why in the world would anyone just wont to be homeless help me understand it  I live in an apartment with central air, wahser and dryers in each unit I have a 2 bedrooom which has 1 /2 bathrooms dishwasher water is the only thing they pay your gas bill aint bad and they mentioned an apartment I have to get furnite we all did me included again someone

      Hello I do not wont to scare anyone by posting this okay first of all I do not where any of you brought your computer whatever but I got mine at a pawnshop i was doing the renting thing and not working well I was starting to notice porn and I sure do no watch it  well I went to the search engine and typed  one of the words they had told me they were 14 files with the word sex God knows what the other words will bring up I am going to download what they said and do the recycle bin but right now I need a big nap  so I am just saying maybe you should go to your search and type in sex porn etc especailly if you got your computer like I did or from someone.

People should clean their computers before they sell them and that is how I feel why would you wont somebody to know that I wonder do the rent to own stores clean theirs 

Good Morning I am trying to shake this but it stays on my mind last week in South East an 80 year old man was beaten to death he was white as well as the couple that did it he rented rooms paper called it a boarding house at the time they seemed to be the only ones there well they wanted his car to take a friend somewhere it is 1 in the morning after they did it they were laughing saying they had beat him up sad some guy across the street think he had been there ran and told his grandma to call the police, the couple ran away but got caught think in North Carolina, she is 20 and him 23 they have throwed their lives away.

This man worked at a video store to now far as family nothing was mentioned of that sad all to it I felt he probably was easy and maybe loney and just took anybody in there have been times I have said I wanted well I would have to have a biggger apartment but I dont know if I could rent a room to someone live with my daughter and I she is 17  and handicapped then I say no noway landlords get fooled but they do a criminal and background check and I may end up with a silly person all they know they wont to do is make a fool of me no thank you  well that is what  is on my heart and mind today.

Hi shyshy 471 again let me post the right amounts concerning what I just posted they overpaid my daughter 7.59 to much SSI from March 2008 thru April 2110 because of child support she does not get that much they we be taking .40 out of her checks beginnning July first 2110.

Morning I tell you I wont to give up okay here I go down to see my daughter on the bus get the mail here the social security office dont wrote saying they dont overpaid her since March 2008  7.59 and as of July first 2110 .40 would be coming out of her checks okay you just decreased her check now I am looking at five hundred and something to pay bills and get food.

How the hell excuse me did it take you'll so long to discover you had over paid her now I got sanctioned and here  I got to get money out her child support account and get a printer so I can do this job contact form hopefully get my food stamps back if  I could give them a 0.00 until it was paid off I would social services thinks I can work my 17 year old daughter is handicapped when I got sanctioned they took my tanf and my food stamps I went to legal aid and reapplied still no go.

My employment services worker is by the book all to it I try not to stress and worry because after she leaves I need to take a nap and do whatever but always something and I got to stop all to it I feel like going off and crying she does not get that much child support putting it on that oh please yesterday I stressed and worried the printer my neighbor gave it to me wont work wont print a thing paper shoots back out I have had this job contact form 2 weeks this Friday and I do work on it when I can I need everybody that will pray for me because sometimes I do understand why people do the things they do for real  why do a job contact form no jobs out here Sundays paper the wont ads sad here I got to pay for her students dues by the end of the school year  30.00 if any of you know where I can buy a cheap printer let me know I wont to go Friday daughter has a dr's appointment Thursday I hope staples has cheap ones the one at best buy in Sundays paper .99 then there is tax.

Hi what is on my heart and mind well there is this show comes on of mornings showing court cases right now they are showing a case of a 16 year old who had special needs died in a house fire in February of 2008 this teenager was chained to the bed yes like a dog exuse me they said so she would not hurt herself especially at night they had 2 other daughters who went to school she was home schooled  it seems like family members just some felt somethig was wrong but they said they were always around her so if she did wont to say anything she couldn't no wonder she did not go to school.

I am the single mother of a special needs 17 year old she was born with trismony 21 downes's syndrome dad worked but he is being charged to to me she was not maybe fed I posted an comment dont know if they will post got to check to see I have had help and my daughter has been in various programs since birth my family would not let me give  Brittany up if I had of wanted and that is why I didn't one what if she was placed in the wrong home the vaccum cleaner caused the fire seems like mom got herself and dog out then mentioned the daughter the policemen tried but could not get to her.

    Morning to All: Okay this may sound silly but here it goes my 17 year old downe's syndome daughter she came in Friday from school with a cold I thought it was her allergies no that well I had to go over to the store Saturday morning and get cold medicine my daughter is also adhd and  we have increased her medcation but when she first started with this medcation change she would not get up various times during the morning some mornings which I hate especailly school mornings okay the weekend I was just misberable she got up Saturday twice before we got up about 8:00 that day turned into me being real tired and sleeply could not do one thing, yesterday got up once we got up by nine well it ended up her not sleeping and me getting bent out of shape.

Now  I keep her at home today from school right now it is 8:08 and  I called the bus not to come at 6:30 told her to get back in bed well she does this gets up bathroom I got to stop falling for that she wonts something to eat is not 7:00 so

I make her a peanut butter sandwich and give her some juice after that her cold medicine no she has not gone to sleep yet I got to call her teacher in a minute now why do I feel guilty sometimes when she has to be out of school she has only missed 5 days today out of the whole school year and I see another rough day all she wonts to do is eat and eat well I know like I said I feel

I am asking this again are there any members on aidpage besides me who live in Roanoke, VA if you live in Martiansville, Salem, Vinton Radford to name a few these places are not far so give me a holler okay also I need advice ASAP on how to get a change of request for the worker I have reagrding my foodstamps and Tanf check  due to a sanction back in 2007 due to me not completing a job search form I was sanctioned at the time I was moving here where I now live.

I have a 16 year old handicapped daughter born with downe's sydrome at birth the program is called the View Program where you are to look for work then there were also the job seeking and job keeping classes and the volunteer work experience program I have done all those some over and over in order to keep my benefits I did in 2008 do the job search from turned in worker said it was not right it was like late September last year went to legal aid spoke to a lawyer he told me to put emphasis on that my daughter was handicapped and I could not do the job search form and reapply well I did no It is hard living off of one income here I have a brand new apartment and I cannot afford things I need and then she has to have things so please I am begging somebody tell me what to do thanks shyshy 471

                   Hello Everyone: I was sanctioned in December of 2007 for failure to complete  a job search form and social services took my foodstamps and tanf check I am the single mother of a 16 year old daughter born with downe's sydrome at birth and her income is all I have coming in, they at one time knew I were her primary caregiver her doctor filled out a form and could no longer work for any of you I just wont foodstamps and a check again no when I had it I needed it.

I hate wating a month for her check well anyhow she told me to request a change of the caseworker and reapply again how do I go about doing this I do have a medicade worker do I let her know  I would like to get started on this soon as I can and she told me anytime I felt I was being treated unfairly do this I was trying to see if I do get disability that is the women I spoke to from a site I had went to online thanks for all replys
